Amanda Redman

MA(Cantab), Chartered Financial Planner, APFS

After an extensive and successful career as a Senior Director in international business and marketing, I established my company, Amanda Redman Financial Planning, and was delighted to join St. James's Place in 2013 as a Partner Practice. I am a Pension planning specialist and enjoy working with female clients, who often have few financial planners to choose from who can relate to their personal circumstances and experiences. I was named Best Woman in Financial Services in the national Best Business Women Awards 2020.

About

I am qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner, having successfully achieved my Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in 2013, adding to my Masters degree from Cambridge.

I live in Tonbridge, Kent, am married to Mike, and have two children, Max (21) who is at Nottingham University reading History, and Tamsin (10), who attends Derwent Lodge at Somerhill.

About my clients

I provide a broad range of financial advice, and specialise in working with senior managers and professionals in the areas of Retirement Planning, Investment Planning and Estate Planning. I also work with professional women (with particular interest in supporting those going through divorce) and older clients looking for advice on inheritance tax planning and equity release*.

I work with clients in the Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells areas, as well as in London, Surrey and other home counties.

Our working relationship

I look to build long-term partnerships with my clients, taking time to understand your personal circumstances and goals. My background in senior national and international corporate roles gives me an affinity with my clients. It also means that I haven't been submerged in financial jargon all my professional life, so - while I am an expert - I will only be as technical as is necessary. I always make sure you understand and have confidence in your financial plan.

I very much look forward to working with you!

Amanda
